Its active ingredient is benzocaine, a member of the "-caine" family of topical anesthetics. As per the manufacturer's directions, you are supposed to apply it to your penis 5-10 minutes before sexual intercourse. You are advised to use the LEAST amount possible and be sure to wipe away any excess gel before you get it on, to minimize the chance of it rubbing off you and numbing your partner as well, diminishing their sexual pleasure.

My Experience

It took some trial and error to get this product to work the way it's supposed to. The first time I used it, I used too much. Not only did I fail to maintain an erection because I couldn't feel anything, but I accidentally numbed the girl I was with. She didn't have a good time either. The second time I used it, I applied too little and came too quickly (lucky I’m good at oral, so she didn’t go home empty handed). The third time was a much better experience. However, the next time after that, despite thinking I had found the perfect dosage, it ended up numbing the girl and I yet again, disappointing both of us. • Dizziness or drowsiness
• Fast or slow heartbeat
• Headache
• Increased sweating

Other potential side effects include accidentally numbing your partner, therefore decreasing or eliminating their sexual pleasure, and loss of erection due to extreme desensitization.

Does KamaSutra Pleasure Balm Work?

Technically, yes, KamaSutra Pleasure Balm works—if you know how to use it correctly. However, I had to find out hard way that this numbing gel is far from idiot-proof. Determining how much gel to apply and when to apply it can take several attempts before you get it right, and that doesn’t mean you will get it right the next time after that. In the meantime, that can mean anywhere from a few to several nights of sexual dissatisfaction for both you and your partner (or partners).

What's worse is that the main ingredient is an allergen for a large number of men. Since KamaSutra Pleasure Balm only addresses PE from a physical standpoint and does nothing to address the mental component, I do not find it to be a well-rounded product for resolving premature ejaculation.
