How to Last Longer in Bed

Are you tired of hearing the phrase, “It’s okay, really,” from your partner? If so, you’re not alone. Premature ejaculation is the number one sexual health problem afflicting men. Estimates are that 25%-30% of men suffer from premature ejaculation, and two-thirds of women say they’ve been with a man who can’t last long enough.  Fortunately, there’s help.

These three techniques have worked for thousands of men and can help you last longer in bed tonight.

Desensitization: The Fastest Way To Last Longer In Bed

This technique produces results immediately

Simply reducing the sensations of sexual pleasure will help you to last longer in bed. However, it’s easy to go a little too far and feel virtually nothing at all during sex.

Fortunately, technology has come a long way from condoms lined with lidocaine (the local anesthesia used by dentists during root canals). Here are some ways to reduce the sensations of sex:

Happy couple
  1. Use a condom. If you’re already using a condom, make sure it’s not a “sensitive” type.
  2. Over-the-counter remedies. Top brands include Climaxagen and ProSolution Gel. These products combine a slight reduction in sensitivity with other effects to help you last longer in bed.
  3. Try Dapoxetine. This prescription medication works for many men but has significant side effects – therefore we recommend over-the-counter treatments first.
  4. Use a desensitizing condom. Some brands are too strong and will leave you feeling nothing at all.

We received this email from Jackson in Vancouver, Canada: “I tried Climaxagen cream and pills on your recommendation. I went from ‘How can I last longer in bed?’ to ‘Can I keep going for 45 minutes?’ I feel like a porn star.”

The Squeeze: The Quick Fix Method To Last Longer In Bed

A technique you can use tonight

This technique for lasting longer in bed was invented by sexual health researchers Masters & Johnson. Here’s how it works: when you feel yourself reaching the point of ejaculation during sex or masturbation, stop the stimulation. Use your index finger and thumb to form a circle around your penis, just below the glans (head). Apply firm pressure and focus on the urethra: the tube that runs on the underside of the penis.

This pushes blood out of the penis and decreases sexual tension, just for a moment. The pressure also represses the urge to ejaculate.

One reader, Brad from Pittsburgh, has this to report about the squeeze technique: “I’ve been doing this for three weeks and it definitely helps me last longer during sex. The secret is not to let yourself get to the point of coming. Instead slow down and squeeze and BOOM your orgasm subsides. Works like a charm.”

Kegel Exercises: Long-Term Technique To Last Longer In Bed

This technique can take 4-5 weeks to produce results

The pubococcygeal (PC) muscles of the pelvic floor control the intensity of your ejaculations. You can find these muscles when urinating by cutting off the flow of urine. Once you discover these muscles, you can practice your kegels everywhere: in the car, at your desk, standing in line at the grocery store.

The stronger your PC muscles, the better your ejaculatory control. At a certain point you will actually be able to feel your orgasm building and then, using your PC muscles, clamp down on the orgasm and last as long as you want.

Our correspondent Sanjay in Los Angeles tells us, “After a few weeks not only was I lasting longer in bed, my erections were harder than ever. My girlfriend was so impressed!”
